First Milk is Britain's leading farmer-owned dairy business. Driving all of its activity is the aim of delivering long-term, sustainable returns for its 2,500 producers. To achieve this, First Milk is focused on maintaining its industry leading performance and is working to create a world class, fully integrated dairy business.

Corporate Identity
To fully reflect its ambitions and put it on an equal footing with Multiple Retailers and large-scale FMCG manufacturing businesses, First Milk wanted to distance itself from its ‘milk brokerage’ background and position itself as a professional food marketing business. Proterra’s reworking of the original First Milk logo built on its easily recognizable form but added subtle 3-D references and ‘liquid metal’ styling to give a contemporary feel befitting of its aspirations and outlook. This was taken forward through all aspects of its brand, vehicle livery, premises and communication gaining considerable acclaim along the way. It’s still one of the most iconic logos in the UK dairy industry today.
